Parameterization

• Support from PROFIBUS Master:The 8507-BI-DP supports parameterization directly from the PROFIBUS master.

• Sequential Module Addition:Modules are added one at a time to the configuration, ensuring a systematic setup process.
• Configuration Transmission:At the start of communication, the configuration is transmitted from the PROFIBUS master to the Bus Interface Module (BIM). If the system stops and restarts or undergoes a cold start, the configuration file is re-transmitted to ensure consistency.
